Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Wednesday

We've added profit in four consecutive days with our strikeout props.

Let's keep that momentum going with another profitable day. Here are three more strikeout props for tonight's MLB action.

May 22 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Jared Jones Over 6.5 Ks (-134) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Although Paul Skenes is getting all the press, Jared Jones has been just as impressive. The right-handed Pittsburgh pitcher has thrown 30.6% of strikeouts and has allowed a wOBA of .277 to his first 206 batters faced.

Jones has been consistent with strikeouts against both sides of the plate. That's key because tonight, he's facing a balanced Giants lineup that has struck out 22.8% of the time against righties.

Luis Matos is the only reason why this rate is low. He's struck out 3.6% of the time against righties. However, there are six batters in the Giants' lineup that have struck out at least 23.6% of the time against righties.

With six strong targets to attack, I like Jones to add at least seven strikeouts tonight.

Max Fried Under 4.5 Ks (+112) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

This season, Max Fried has been really good, holding batters to a .077 ISO and wOBA of .271 with 64.6% of ground balls, 12.5% of fly balls, and 17.4% of line drives.

However, he's missing one thing. That's strikeouts. Fried has only struck out 19% of batters this season, adding just 20.4% against righties and 14.6% of strikeouts against lefties.

He's in line to face a Cubs projected lineup that only has three legitimate targets for strikeouts. Against lefties, the Cubs have four batters who have struck out no more than 12.5% of the time this season. Chicago also has six batters who have struck out no more than 18.5%.

Only Seiya Suzuki, Patrick Wisdom, and Yan Gomes have struck out at a high rate. However, Suzuki and Wisdom each have high ISO numbers against lefties.

Austin Gomber Over 4.5 Ks (-113) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

This is more of a matchup play.

Austin Gomber has only struck out 16.9% of batters this season. While that isn't good, it's still an improvement from last year. Gomber struck out just 14.3% of batters last season.

In addition, Gomber has also held teams to a .303 wOBA and has added nearly 44% of ground balls. Beyond that, Gomber gets to pitch away from Coors Field and throw in Oakland, which is much more pitcher-friendly.

That said, the Athletics' projected lineup has struck out 25.2% of the time against lefties. Gomber essentially will have seven targets for strikeouts. There would be seven batters with 22.6% of strikeouts or more against lefties in the lineup. Three of those seven have struck out at least 30% of the time against lefties.

Therefore, I'll rock with Gomber to add at least five strikeouts. If he goes five innings, he should achieve five strikeouts.
