It looks like BetMGM might be our new book of choice for NRSI same game parlays. This is a pitching matchup I have been looking ahead to for days now and it is finally here. Tarik Skubal and Cole Ragans are both great pitchers and I expect them to come through for us
We only need Skubal for a clean second inning. His last time out against Kansas City this year he went seven innings and only allowed one run. That run came in the first inning which is typical fashion for him as he usually looks his worst in the first and starts to piece it together throughout the game. He holds a stellar 0.75 ERA on the road this year.
Ragans is who we are trusting more here and it’s not that I trust him more than Skubal, but I just like the thought of fading Detroit's bats more than the Royals. The Tigers shouldn’t score 8+ runs today, Ragans has looked great in every start but two. A team like Detroit should be relatively quiet today.
None of Detroits 4-9 hitters scare me and the only guy that scares me a lot from Kansas City is Salvador Perez. Hopefully Kansas City gets a hit or walk in the first inning and Perez won’t even see the plate in the second. This game has a total of just seven runs so I like our odds of having a clean second inning. Lets keep rolling!
