The first game between the Rangers and Phillies snuck under the total yesterday. With two “shaky” pitchers on the bump for both teams in game two, will both offenses show up on Wednesday, or will Dane Dunning and Taijuan Walker silence these offenses once again?

Texas Rangers vs. Philadelphia Phillies Prediction
The Phillies offense wasn’t the problem in game one of this series. They were able to scrape five runs together against Jon Gray and the Rangers bullpen. I’m expecting the Rangers offense to finally show up on Wednesday against a struggling veteran. Taijuan Walker wasn’t able to get out of the fourth inning in his last start. After getting embarrassed in the first game of this series, I’m banking on the Rangers bats to wake up on Wednesday night.
Dane Dunning has had similar struggles as Walker where he can’t pitch as deep into games as the Rangers would like. He’s only pitched six or more innings in two starts this season, and they were his first two starts of the year. Coming off a shoulder injury after missing a couple weeks, I’m predicting some early struggles for Dunning as he shakes the rust off.
The betting splits for this over are extremely sharp. Only 40% of the bets are backing this over, but more than 85% of the handle (on VSIN) as well. That means some big bets are being placed on this over, including mine. Ride with the sharps tonight, and bet on the Rangers offense to wake up after getting shut down in game one of this series. It’s that time of year again when baseballs are finally starting to fly, and overs are cashing. With the total in this game tonight on the rise from 9.5 to 10 on most books, lock-in this over before the it gets any higher. I have a feeling this is one of those plays that cashes before the seventh inning stretch, and I’ll meet you at the cash counter when once it hits.
