Chris Sale has struck out 31.7% of batters this season. He also hasn't struggled against either side of the plate with earning strikeouts. Beyond that, Sale has limited teams to a .082 ISO and wOBA of .234. He's even kept walks down to 3.6%. Sale has ultimately resurrected his career in Atlanta and continues to surprise this season. That said, he's facing a Pirates lineup that has struck out 26.5% of the time this season against lefties. There are six batters in the lineup with a high strikeout rate against lefties, including four batters with strikeout rates of 28.6% or worse. Sale should have a massive day with strikeouts. He'll pick up the bottom portion of the Pittsburgh order today.

I'm playing with fire here. After all, Taj Bradley has added 32.4% of strikeouts this season. However, he's facing a Royals projected lineup that has only struck out 18.9% of the time against righties this season. Ultimately, there are just two targets in the projected lineup that have struck out more than 20.5% of the time against righties. Therefore, I'll take my chances with Bradley to go Under 5.5 Ks. He's still struggled against lefties, allowing a .263 ISO and woBA of .324 to them this season.

The Baltimore Orioles have a lot of power in their lineup against lefties. However, they also have a lot of strikeouts against lefties this season. The Orioles have hit a .213 ISO and wOBA of .369. But they've also struck out 22.3% against lefties this season. Six of the nine batters in the projected lineup have struck out more than 22.5% of the time. Meanwhile, Crochet has struck out 32.3% of batters this season. He's also limited teams to a wOBA of .269 and has given up just 20% of line drive contact with only 5.7% of walks. Crochet should be fine against the Orioles, and the strikeouts should rack up.
