I like Luis Arraez to not strikeout today against Trevor Rogers and his former team, the Miami Marlins.
He has gone under this line in 25 of his last 28 games and ranks in the 100th percentile in both whiff percentage and strikeout percentage this season.
Trevor Rogers is struggling and is only ranked in the 26th percentile in strikeout percentage this season. In Arraez’s last 40 plate appearances against lefties this season, he has only struck out twice. I don’t see him adding to that number here.
I’m not expecting Rogers to go very deep in this game either, but I don’t see him or the Marlins bullpen getting Arraez to go down on strikes today.
