MLB Parlay Today: Will Rowdy Tellez, Bobby Witt Jr. Go Yard on Friday Night?

There is not a more fun bet in baseball than home run bets. The feeling of taking a guy at high odds to hit one out of the park and then watching it hit is one of the best feelings in sports betting, and it gets even better when you throw two in a parlay and hit both for a massive payout. That is exactly what we’re going for tonight with these two players.

MLB Home Run Parlay

Leg 1: Rowdy Tellez

Rowdy Tellez hit a career high 35 home runs in 2022 with the Brewers a few years ago, following it up with 13 home runs in 105 games last season. Through 56 games this year, he has only hit two home runs. Despite hitting just two home runs so far this year, he is above average in exit velocity, hard hit rate, and he has hit the ball with an average angle of 15.3° this season. His barrel rate is a bit lower than it has been for most of his career, but a lot of the other underlying metrics are there to support that he should have more than two home runs.

The perfect way for him to get back on track and start hitting some more home runs is hitting in hitter-friendly ballparks. That will be exactly the case for him tonight as he is hitting in the most hitter-friendly ballpark in baseball: Coors Field. Coors Field is notorious for hitter-friendly elements, as it is the highest elevation park in the MLB and has very low air pressure. Tonight, the wind is also slightly blowing out towards center field, which will be even more conducive for home runs. Tellez has not hit many balls out of the park this year, so we are getting a very good price on him as well, and against a guy he had success against.

Rowdy has five hits in nine at-bats against Ryan Feltner today, the pitcher for the Rockies. He has four doubles in those nine bats but has yet to hit a home run. With all those extra-base hits and no homers, it feels like Tellez is more than overdue to hit one out on Ryan Feltner, and what better way to do it than in Coors Field tonight?

Leg 2: Bobby Witt Jr.

The electrifying player out of Kansas City will be in Dodger Stadium tonight. Bobby Witt Jr. will be facing Gavin Stone, who has a low ERA of 2.93 but has not been completely untouchable, giving up five home runs. I think the sixth might just be against one of the best hitters in the MLB this season.

Witt Jr. is hitting .338 against right handed pitching this season, which leads his team. He is also leading his team with nine home runs against right handed pitching. It just so happens that all five of Stone's home runs that he has given up have been against right-handed hitters. Also, what better night for Bobby Witt to hit another home run, being that it's his birthday?

The birthday boy will also get some excellent weather conditions, as it will be a hot night in Los Angeles with the wind blowing out to center. Dodger Stadium has the second-highest boost on Ballpark Pal behind Coors Field tonight. Bobby Witt has also been on fire recently, hitting .433 over the last seven days and .421 over the last 15 days. However, he has not hit a home run in eight games. It feels like destiny that he would hit one tonight and give a good performance on his birthday. The two of these guys hitting one out gives us a rich payout of +2864 tonight. This one feels like it will hit.
