The Nationals will throw Mitchell Parker for today's game against the Marlins. The left-hander has done well, limiting teams to a .126 ISO and wOBA of .276 this season.
However, he's just not racking up the strikeouts. This season, Parker has added just 18.5% of strikeouts, including only 17.9% against righties.
Over the last 30 days, it's been more of the same. He's struck out just 17.4% of batters but only 17.2% of righties.
Today, he'll face a Marlins projected lineup that has only struck out 19.7% of the time over the last month against lefties. Miami has just two batters who have struck out at a higher rate than 22.5%. With few targets, back Parker's Under.

Ben Lively is in the same boat. While he's held teams to a .120 ISO and wOBA of .256 over the last 30 days, he's only struck out 19.8% of batters.
Today, he'll pitch against a Toronto Blue Jays offense that has struck out just 16.4% of the time in the last 30 days against right-handed pitching.
Toronto has two batters who have struck out over 30% of the time in the last month. But everyone else has struck out below 22.5% of the time over the last 30 days against righties.
With only two targets, I'll back the Under for Lively.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will run it back with Jordan Montgomery. While he's a household name and had a brilliant postseason last year, Montgomery has struggled a lot this season.
The left-hander has allowed a .240 ISO and wOBA of .427 to 191 righties this season.
Today, he'll face a Chicago White Sox lineup that should have eight righties in it. Those eight righties have hit an above-average ISO of .168 against lefties to go along with a .331 wOBA. They've also struck out only 20.5% of the time.
Ultimately, the White Sox have five batters who have struck out no more than 20% of the time against lefties. Let's back Montgomery's Under. He's earning about one strikeout every ten righties faced this season.
