5 minBest Bets Today: Wednesday's MLB Hit Parlay from Calling Our Shot
Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, we delivered a winner. It was sweaty, but it cashed. Let's try to do it over again.
WEDNESDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: STEVEN KWAN (CLE) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Steven Kwan. Kwan got a hit in his last at-bat yesterday to cash our parlay. We’re continuing to trust our reliable hitters. Kwan faces Bryan Woo and the Mariners at home today.
Kwan is on a 12-game hit streak and is hitting .523 since coming back from the IL. Against righties, Kwan is hitting .377 this season. Batting in the leadoff spot, Kwan will get several chances to cash this leg for us. Woo hasn’t pitched since June 6th due to an injury scare. The Guardians are sizable favorites today, despite having the pitcher with a much higher ERA (and losing yesterday). I like Kwan (a lefty) vs. Woo to stay hot.
LEG 2: VLADIMIR GUERRERO JR (TOR) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Yesterday, we backed Adley Rutschman against Nestor Cortes, a matchup he had dominated. Today, we are running with a similar philosophy with Vladdy against Brayan Bello. Vladdy is 7-for-14 lifetime against Bello.
In addition to those great splits, Bello is struggling. Bello is allowing a .296 BA over his last five starts. He’s allowed 6+ hits in his last three starts. Vladdy is batting .307 at home and .288 vs. RHP. He also went hitless yesterday. I like him to keep dominating this matchup.
