The Giants opened up (+110) on the moneyline, but have since been steamed to a favorite. Less than 45% of the bets and handle are currently backing the Giants (on VSiN), so the move towards San Francisco is definitely sharp. Considering the Giants are coming off two straight losses, it’s weird to see them catching os much steam…

Keaton Winn has struggled this season, but he’s coming off a promising outing against the Angels. I want to buy low on Winn and the Giants coming off back to back losses. They will be facing another young struggling starter on Thursday. Andre Pallante has pitched much better of late, but I want to sell-high on the young arm who I simply don’t think is an above-average MLB starter. I’m willing to bet he regressed against Jorge Soler and the hungry Giants bats coming off consecutive losses.

Willie Mays, one of the greatest baseball players of all time, passed away this week. He spent the majority of his career with the Giants, so if you believe in narrative plays, you’ve got one tonight. RIP to one of the greatest hitters of all time, and I’m sure the Giants will be looking to show up and get a win on national television for Willie. I wouldn’t want to fade the Giants tonight…

Considering Keaton Winn has an ERA two full points higher than Pallante, seeing them catch this much steam is unexpected.
