Brady Singer got roughed up by the Guardians and yankees before settling down for a solid outing against the Dodgers last week. Overall, he’s been great this season for the Royals. I want to buy-low on Singer after a couple of subpar starts. The Rangers might’ve ended their losing streak in their last game, but their offense is still struggling mightily.
Nathan Eovaldi will be on the bump for the Rangers on Friday night. He’s been great for the Rangers, one of their only consistent starters this season. Luckily for him and the struggling Rangers… Kansas City has also been struggling offensively. They’ve scored three or less runs in three of their last five games. Don’t be surprised if the Royals struggle once again on the road, getting stifled by Eovaldi and the Rangers bullpen.
Until these offenses both show some consistent signs of life, I am going to continue to fade them. The total in this game opened up at 8.5. It is now down to 7.5 on some books. Considering less than 43% of the bets and handle (on VSiN) are currently backing the under, this move is significant. The under in this game looks like one of the sharpest plays on the slate…
