Paul Skenes has struck out 34.8% of batters over the last 30 days. He's also held opponents to a .148 ISO and wOBA of .272 with just 3.3% of walks.
Not only will he face a Rays lineup that has hit a wOBA of .291, but he'll also take on a Rays lineup that has struck out nearly 23% of the time against righties.
Tampa Bay literally has five batters in the projected lineup that have struck out at least 26.2% of the time against righties in the last 30 days. With the majority of lineup being targets, let's take Skenes' over for strikeouts.
