The MLB slate is stacked with several exciting matchups on Monday night. Let's target Steven Kwan to perform for the Guardians while Jurickson Profar steps up for the Padres.
Cleveland Guardians vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction
The Cleveland Guardians take on the Baltimore Orioles today for the first game of a 3-game series. Steven Kwan comes into this series red hot at the plate as he’s registered a hit in 22 of his last 25 games and has launched three home runs in his last five games. On the season, Kwan has had a ton of success when matching up with left-handed pitchers which is good news with lefty Cade Povich taking the mound for the Orioles. Kwan is batting a whopping .439 against southpaws. When we take a look at Kwan’s career history playing at Baltimore, he has hit well at Camden Yards. In five career games, he has at least one hit in four of them and a total of seven hits. Expect Steven Kwan to continue swinging a hot bat and get us a hit for the first-leg of our parlay.
Washington Nationals vs. San Diego Padres Prediction
For the second leg, I’m going to the matchup between the Washington Nationals and San Diego Padres. The Padres are playing at home, and I’m trusting Jurickson Profar to come through with at least one base knock. Similarly to Steven Kwan, Profar has been excellent against left-handed pitchers this season, currently holding a .429 batting average coming into this matchup. He has been swinging the bat well as of late, recording at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games, and he’s gone for extra bases in each of his last four games. The final note is he will be facing off with Patrick Corbin who he has faired well against in his career. In 10 career plate appearances against Corbin, Profar is batting .429 which bodes well for him tonight.
Two hits is all we need to cash this parlay and I’m trusting Steven Kwan and Jurickson Profar to complete the job.
