We can't ignore Adley Rutschman's stats against lefties over the last 30 days. Rutschman has hit a .250 ISO and wOBA of .473 against his last 31 lefties. The switch-hitting catcher has also struck out only 12.9% of the time over the last 30 days and has hit 37.5% of line drives with a 50% hard contact rate against lefties.
Meanwhile, he'll take on Logan Allen of the Guardians, who has allowed a .305 ISO and wOBA of .400 to his last 72 righties. Allen has also struck out only 9.7% of righties over the last 30 days and has allowed more than 26% of fly balls.
Let's give Rutschman a chance.

I didn't think I'd be fading Kevin Gausman in the home run prop article this year. But here we are.
Gausman has allowed a .280 ISO and wOBA of .364 to his last 79 lefties. He's also earned just 20.3% of strikeouts against lefties and has allowed 39% of line drives to those same 79 lefties.
He'll face Rafael Devers, who is one of the most lethal lefties in the game. Devers already has a .208 ISO and wOBA of .348 against righties over the last month. But more importantly, he's limited ground balls to below 30% and has smashed 38.3% of fly balls with a 51.1% hard contact rate against righties.
You can't go wrong with any of the lefties near the top of the order for the Red Sox. Devers is just the clear-cut favorite to hit one out for the Red Sox.

While Corey Seager is the best lefty in the Texas lineup tonight, Josh Smith isn't far behind. He's smacked a .250 ISO and wOBA of .429 against his last 54 righties. He's also struck out just 11.1% of the time against righties in the last month.
Smith has also hit 50% hard contact and has added 28.6% of fly balls against righties over the last 30 days.
He'll take on Bryse Wilson of the Brewers, who has allowed a .244 ISO and wOBA of .434 to his last 52 lefties. Wilson has also allowed 37.1% of fly balls with only 19.2% of strikeouts against lefties.
Consider Smith to hit the long ball tonight.
