Well, it’s a travel day for me so I will keep this short and sweet today but I want to dive into a little two leg parlay I cashed last night and am going right back to the well with tonight.
MLB Parlay
Leg 1: Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction
Texas got Max Scherzer back but the rotation is still banged up and Texas is simply treading water right now… Tonight Jon Gray has the ball for the Rangers and while he is one of the better arms in that rotation right now I think he could have some issues tonight at Camden Yards.
This Baltimore lineup is incredibly talented and they are one of the best home teams in baseball. After rebounding last night from their longest losing streak in the last two seasons, I think they are ready to string some wins together. Corbin Burnes has the ball for the O’s and I expect the Ace to have a bounce back game from his last outing.
Leg 2: Cincinnati Reds vs. St. Louis Cardinals Prediction
Believe it or not, this is the most the Cardinals have been above .500 since Albert Pujols, Yadier Molina and Adam Wainwright were on the team. Things have been rough for the birds the last season and a half but they are figuring things out and have the best record in the NL Central since early May. They have won seven of their last ten games and are coming off a big series win over the Braves.
Tonight they continue their home-stand and it is another big series for them as they take on the Reds and a divisional clash. They hold the second place spot in the division but they only lead Pittsburgh by two games and both the Cubs and Reds are only five games back. Things are really tight in the division and these matchups are huge, I like the Cardinals to keep the momentum rolling and their foot on the gas tonight.
