MONDAY'S LONGSHOT PARLAY
LEG 1: BLUE JAYS TEAM TOTAL OVER 3.5
Our first leg of the longshot: Blue Jays Team Total OVER 3.5 Runs. I like their chances of getting to Hunter Brown today. While Hunter Brown has looked really good the last few starts, he’s also faced some very bad offenses recently. The Blue Jays have been swinging pretty hot bats the last few days. Additionally, they run up the pitch count. This Astros bullpen is heavily taxed after a long series vs. the Mets. Runs should come early and late in this one. They will score four.
LEG 2: LANE THOMAS (WSH) OVER 1.5 BASES
Our second leg of the longshot: Lane Thomas (WSH) OVER 1.5 Total Bases. Lane has been crushing lefties and gets a great matchup against the lefty David Peterson today. Lane is hitting .322 against lefties with seven extra base hits in 59 ABs. Batting near the top of the lineup, Lane will have plenty of chances to improve those numbers today.
LEG 3: RYAN MCMAHON (COL) OVER 1.5 BASES
Our third leg of the longshot: Ryan McMahon (COL) OVER 1.5 Bases. If you watched our daily YouTube Best Bets video, first off, I appreciate you, secondly, you would’ve heard me talk about Bryse Wilson and his struggles against Lefty bats. Well, here’s McMahon, another lefty bat. He’s batting .280 at home. I like his chances to do damage to Bryse Wilson, who has struggled on the road too. Take us home, Ryan.
