Don’t look now, but the Tigers have won the first two games of this series in Cincinnati. They will be going for a sweep on Sunday against the Reds, and the public seems to think they get it done with Skubal on the mound. Will the Tigers pull off the sweep, or will the Reds salvage the series and steal a win on Sunday afternoon?

Graham Ashcraft will be taking the mound for the Reds in the final game of this series. He’s made two starts since returning from the minors after getting demoted. His first start back he got crushed by the Pirates, giving up nine hits and six runs. He settled down in his second start since his return last week, holding the Yankees to just three runs in New York. I want to buy-low on Ashcraft, who is a better starting pitcher than he’s shown this season.
Tyler Skubal has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. Luckily for the Reds, they thrive off of facing left-handed pitching. The Reds have struggled at home this season, but that is not a trend we can expect to continue. I’m willing to bet we see the Reds bats finally show up on Sunday in the final game of this series against the Tigers.
