We have our last slate today in the MLB before the All-Star Break and I have another parlay that I just locked in. It is another two-leg hit parlay consisting of two players who are swinging the bat well and getting on base and both guys have solid matchups. Let's cash our third straight hit parlay.
MLB Parlay Today
Leg 1: Rafael Devers to record a hit
The first leg of the hit parlay is Rafael Devers of the Boston Red Sox. Raffy is absolutely on fire against right-handed pitching and is hitting .467 against it since June 30th which is insane. 12 of his last 14 batted balls against righties have been hit 96 MPH or higher exit velocity which is absurd. Devers is seeing the ball extremely well and his matchup looks great on paper. He will see the Royals righty, Brady Singer who allows a lot of hits. He ranks in the 23rd percentile on the season in expected batting average allowed and lefties have a .284 expected batting average against him so far. Devers has now recorded a hit in 11 of 12 Sunday games this season and his team's record is now 14-1 on Sundays as well. I think we see another win for the Red Sox and Devers playing a big role in that.
Leg 2: Julio Rodriguez to record a hit
The second leg of the hit parlay is Julio Rodriguez of the Seattle Mariners. Julio is another guy who is just absolutely on fire. He now has recorded two or more hits in four of his last five games and the matchup looks great for him. He likely sees one at bat against Roansy Contreras who ranks in the 16th percentile in expected batting average allowed and then should see multiple other at bats against the Angels' bullpen which is not great. With how Julio is seeing the ball as of late, I don't see how he doesn't reach base safely in this one. I think he pulls through for a third time for us and cashes the parlay for us.
