First and foremost, the MLB will be back in action for the second half of the season over the weekend.
Additionally, the WNBA All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, and the NBA Summer League will continue throughout the weekend.
We've also got the PGA Tour's "The British Open" and many MLS games held on Saturday. By next weekend, it'll be the start of the Olympics!

Rays vs. Yankees: Yankees ML (-178) ($178 to collect $278)

The New York Yankees ultimately needed a break. They've been miserable since June and now don't even lead the AL East.
They'll call on Gerrit Cole to start on Friday against the Rays. Cole has been pretty bad over the last 30 days, but he's beginning to see his strikeout rate increase and his walks decrease. He's going to get back week after week when on the mound.
That's why Cy Young pitchers do.
On the other hand, Zach Eflin has pitched his way to being trade bait for the Rays. Tampa Bay is currently sitting at .500 and could eventually be sellers at the deadline. Eflin's a target for many because of his low walk rate. However, he's still allowed a .164 ISO to 412 batters this season and has allowed more than 29% of fly balls.
Consider the Yankees in Game 1 of this series.
Padres vs. Guardians: Guardians ML (-126) ($126 to collect $226)

The Guardians will give Tanner Bibee the start for the opening game of the second half. Bibee has struck out more than 30% of batters over the last 30 days and has limited walks to 5.9% in that same stretch.
He's had some trouble with lefties over the last month but has at least held righties to a .091 ISO and wOBA of .235.
San Diego only has two lefties that have done damage against righties consistently over the last 30 days. That's Jake Cronenworth and Jackson Merrill. Bibee looks to have advantages in this game.
Let's grab the Guardians at -126.
WNBA Three-Point Contest: Kayla McBride (+250) ($100 to collect $350)

Unfortunately, Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu are not competing in this year's three-point contest.
Kayla McBride, Stefanie Dolson, Allisha Gray, Marina Mabrey, and Jonquel Jones will face off in the competition.
It sounded like Clark wanted to compete when talking to the media.
That said, McBride has been ridiculous from downtown this year for the Minnesota Lynx. She's shot 42.4% from three this season and has averaged three three-pointers per game. He might be her 10th season, but she's having a career year and easily her best as a Lynx player.
Let's back McBride to get the job done in the three-point contest.
WNBA All-Star Game: Team USA -4.5 (-110) ($110 to collect $210)

The USA Women's National Team competing in the Olympics will add a tune-up game against the WNBA All-Stars that aren't competing.
I know most fans want to root for Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. However, Team USA is much more balanced and will play with a purpose. They're more familiar with each other's games and are arguably the best WNBA players in the world.
This might be one of the most competitive All-Star Games ever. But I like the USA All-Stars to at least cover the 4.5-point spread.
The Open: Tony Finau Top 10 Finish (+260) ($100 to collect $360)

How often do we look at the scoreboard and see Tony Finau competing at the top of the leaderboard?
Finau hasn't won a PGA Tour event this year. However, he's added a top-10 finish in five events this year and finished 18 or better in seven of his last nine events. This resulted from his short game improving, which will undoubtedly help in The Open.
