MONDAY'S PARLAY
LEG 1: Rangers and Red Sox Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our first leg of the Parlay: Rangers and Red Sox Both Teams to score 1+ Runs First 5 Innings. In order for this leg of the parlay to cash, we just need each team to have a run on the board by the end of the 5th inning.
The Rangers face off against Bryan Bello and the Red Sox. Bello has had a rocky year as evidenced by his 5.16 ERA and the fact that he’s allowing a .284 batting average with runners in scoring position. The chances will be there for Texas. We also need Boston to do their part against Tyler Mahle. Mahle makes his second start of the season against a Red Sox team who knows how to hit in Fenway. Over the last 30 days, the Red Sox are 1st in batting average against righties. They should be able to seal the deal for us and cash this leg of the parlay.
LEG 2: Blue Jays and Angels Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our second leg of the Parlay: Blue Jays and Angels Both Teams to score 1+ Runs First 5 Innings. We head to the West Coast for this second leg of the parlay. In order for this leg of the parlay to cash, we just need each team to have a run on the board by the end of the 5th inning.
This is a great matchup on paper for both teams. Both starters have an ERA above 5. Davis Daniel has been close to batting practice for most opponents this season. Davis is allowing a ridiculous .318 batting average with runners in scoring position. Bowden Francis is actually worse than Daniel as he’s allowing a .357 batting average with runners in scoring position. When the pitching is this bad, we have to trust the offenses to do their jobs and get us one run on each side through 5.
