We have a very nice Friday MLB slate today, and I am going to be using the FanDuel 30% Same-Game Parlay boost for today's article. I will be targeting two hitters for the parlay who I both think will go for at least two or more hits today. Those two players are Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and Trea Turner of the Philadelphia Phillies. Let's cash this one!
August 16th MLB Prop Picks
Trea Turner has been a little bit inconsistent over the last month or so, but I am confident in him today. The matchup could not be much better for him as he will see Patrick Corbin and the Washington Nationals today. Patrick Corbin has been a great target for opponent hits for the last few seasons and that will be no different today. Corbin ranks in the 1st percentile in expected batting average allowed this season, and Turner has a hit off him already this season. Turner is coming off a great game yesterday, going 3-for-5 and in this matchup vs. Corbin, I expect him to build off that and get us two or more hits.
What Aaron Judge has been doing this past month has been absolutely crazy! He is hitting .500 this month and now has recorded 2+ hits in five straight games. With this game being on the road once again, he has a great chance to see five or more plate appearances. When he sees five or more plate appearances, he has gone for two or more hits in 10 of the last 12 games and three or bases in nine of the last 13 games. It looks like the Tigers will have a bullpen game with the bulk of the innings coming from lefty, Brant Hurter. The Tigers bullpen has allowed the 8th most hits amongst all bullpens this season which is great news for this prop. Additionally, Judge has been crushing lefties with a .301 batting average against them this season. He is also five for his last six vs. lefties, and I think we see him extend that streak here today.
