MONDAY'S PARLAY
LEG 1: Orioles and Mets Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our first leg of the Parlay: Orioles and Mets Both Teams to score 1+ Runs First 5 Innings. If you've never bet this market before, it is a fun one. You can find it on DraftKings under '1st X+ Innings' tab or on BetMGM under the Innings tab.
Today, we need a run from the Orioles and Mets in the First 5. Trevor Rogers starts for the Orioles. The Mets have familiarity with him, having last played for the Marlins. Rogers has allowed at least 1 run in 23 of his 24 starts this season, which did include a start vs. NYM where he allowed 2. David Peterson starts for the Mets. Over the last 2 weeks vs. LHP, the Orioles are Top 5 in wRC+ and 6th in OPS. Peterson has been one of the luckiest pitchers this year. He has a 3.04 ERA, but his xERA is 5.31. All we need is one, Orioles. Please get the job done.
LEG 2: Mariners and Dodgers Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our second leg of the Parlay: Mariners and Dodgers Both Teams to score 1+ Runs First 5 Innings. We head out to Los Angeles for the second leg of this parlay where we once again need both teams to score by the end of the 5th inning.
The Mariners face off against Gavin Stone today. Stone has allowed a run in the first 5 innings in seven straight starts. Stone also has a home run problem where he has allowed a homer in seven straight starts. The Mariners are coming off a series in Pittsburgh where they ended it off scoring 10 runs. The offense should be there for Seattle, but we also need a run from the Dodgers. Bryan Woo starts for the Mariners and while he’s been solid as of late, he’s faced some of the most favorable matchups in the league. Now on the road in LA, the Dodgers bats are liable to get to him as he has a 5.5 hits allowed line and 2.5 Earned runs line. At home this month, the Dodgers are hitting .261. The bats will be there against Woo today and cash the second leg of this parlay.
