TUESDAY'S MLB PARLAY
LEG 1: YANKEES TEAM TOTAL OVER 2.5
Our first leg of the Parlay: Yankees Team Total OVER 2.5. This leg of the parlay is an alternate over as the normal line for the Yankees is 4.5. We’re lowering this team total for a great parlay piece.
The Yankees Have been radioactive in their recent games but today as sizable favorites, the bats will wake up. Given their recent struggles, it could be easy to forget the Yankees are 2nd best in runs scored per game this season. The Yankees are 6th best in batting average over the last two weeks at home. Matthew Boyd will start for the Guardians, and he’s only making his 2nd start of the season. This is a tough spot to imagine Boyd pitches well, especially as the +135 underdogs they’re priced at. In 25 PAs, this Yankees roster has a .372 xBA against Boyd. Returning home will be exactly what this Yankees offense needs to get going today.
LEG 2: LUIS ARRAEZ (SD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the Parlay: Luis Arraez to Record a Hit. Last night, Arraez got to face his former team, the Twins, who he started his career with and played four seasons. Well... the Twins had other plans. Yesterday, Arraez went 0-for-2 with two Hit By Pitches. Talk about being rude.
Today, Arraez will take out his frustration on Bailey Ober and the Twins pitching staff. That was Arraez' second hitless game in a row. The last time he went three straight without a hit... you'd have to go back to the first three games of the season. Ober has been great this season, but is beginning to approach the most innings he's ever thrown in a game. He just allowed seven hits to the Rangers. Maybe the arm is tiring. Either way, I trust Luis to come through. All we need is a single + he rarely walks. Arraez will deliver.
