August 23 Best MLB Home Run Props
Joey Bart to Hit a Home Run (+520) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
Joey Bart has smashed a .591 ISO and wOBA of .568 against his last 23 lefties. The San Francisco catcher is now batting third in the lineup and has hit 42.9% of fly balls with 35.7% of line drives against lefties over the last 30 days.
He's also hit ground balls just 7.1% of the time and has nailed 64.3% of hard contact with a 28.6% barrel percentage. Bart has been incredible.
Now, he'll take on Andrew Abbott of the Reds, who is a lefty, allowing a .299 ISO and wOBA of .415 to his last 95 righties.
Abbott has added a high strikeout rate against righties. But when a player connects, it's trouble. Righties have also hit 43.9% of hard contact with nearly 29% of fly balls. He's also earned just 9% of swinging strikes against righties.
Let's back Bart to launch one tonight.
Jorge Soler to Hit a Home Run (+360) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
It's hard to pass up Jorge Soler against any left-handed pitcher. Soler is back on the Braves and has smoked a .615 ISO and wOBA of .712 against his last 21 lefties. He's also struck out just 4.8% of the time and has hit 41.7% of fly balls over the last month against lefties.
In addition, Soler has hit 58.3% of hard contact and a team-high 33.3% barrel percentage against lefties.
This is scary stuff for MacKenzie Gore of the Nationals. Gore, a lefty, has already allowed a .203 ISO and wOBA of .439 to his last 89 lefties. Gore has also struck out 14.6% of righties and allowed 45.5% of hard contact with only 7.2% of swinging strikes.
Soler is in line to smash one over the wall.
Kerry Carpenter to Hit a Home Run (+390) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
Since returning from injury, Kerry Carpenter has been red-hot against right-handed pitching. The lefty has added a .429 ISO and wOBA of .395 against his last 28 righties. He's also hit 54.7% of hard contact with a 23.5% barrel percentage and 52.9% of fly balls.
He'll battle Chris Flexen of the White Sox. Flexen is a righty who has watched 233 lefties hit a .262 ISO and wOBA of .375 against him this year. Over the last 30 days, Flexen has allowed a .209 ISO and wOBA of .397 with only 26.5% of ground balls induced.
Carpenter is a high strikeout candidate. However, Flexen has only earned 17.6% of strikeouts against lefties this season. If Carpenter doesn't strike out, there's a good chance he'll put good wood on the ball against Flexen tonight.
