TUESDAY'S MLB PARLAY

LEG 1: Rays Team Total UNDER 4.5

Our first leg of the Parlay: Rays Team Total UNDER 4.5. This is an alternate team total under for the Rays who have a normal line of 3.5. We’re buying ourselves an extra run for safety on this under leg.

We saw the Rays against a lefty last night in Cristopher Sanchez. Sanchez went 6 IP and didn’t give up a single run. Today they face another lefty in Ranger Suarez. Ranger has a 3.26 ERA at home and has a great matchup today. Over the last 6 games vs the Rays, only 2 lefty starters have allowed more than 2 earned runs. I see the trend working favorably for Ranger today as the Rays' offense will be stuck in the mud today.

LEG 2: David Peterson (NYM) UNDER 2.5 Earned Runs

Our second leg of the Parlay: David Peterson UNDER 2.5 Earned Runs. Some things are hard to explain, and David Peterson's success this season is one of those things, but I won't try to explain it, I'll just back him and hope he can continue it in a good matchup.

Peterson is UNDER 2.5 Earned Runs in 13 of his last 14 starts. He owns a 2.75 ER. He doesn't rely on a ton of strikeouts but is capable of getting them as we saw him have 11 K's in his last start. Over the last month, the Blue Jays own the 3rd lowest batting average vs. LHP. I'll trust Peterson to hold things down.
