Our first leg of the Parlay: Trea Turner (PHI) to record a hit. We need a hit from Trea to cash this leg of the parlay. Trea and the Phillies face off against the Mets at home.
We like backing Trea when he’s hot and he has a hit in three straight games. Against Jose Quintana, Trea is hitting .286 in his career. The best time to back Trea is at home and against a lefty and he gets that tonight. Trea is hitting a ridiculous .381 against lefties at home this season. With a high sprint speed, Trea is fast enough to beat out infield singles. He’s a COS hall of famer for a reason, and he will come through for us.
LEG 2: LUIS ARRAEZ (SD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the Parlay: Luis Arraez (SD) to record a hit. We need a hit from Arraez to cash this leg of the parlay. Luis and the Padres face off against the Giants on the road.
The matchup Arraez has with Logan Webb today should result in a hit for us. In his career, Arraez is 5-for-9 hitting .556 off Logan Webb. Webb is a pitch to contact pitcher which results in a lot of ground balls that get through the gaps for hits. Against righties, Arraez is hitting .339 this season.
