Sam LaPorta has been off to a slow start in 2024 after a red-hot rookie season in Detroit. In three games, LaPorts has been targetted just 10 times and has eight catches for 94 yards. On top of that, he's yet to reach the end zone. Still, I think there is an end to the skid coming.
Tight ends are averaging 8.67 targets per game against the Seahawks, which is the fourth most in the NFL. On top of that, the 57.33 yards per game they're giving up is the fourth most as well. I think we have a big breakout game for LaPorta tonight.
Leg 2: Geno Smith 250+ Passing Yards
Geno Smith has been lighting it up this season, especially in the last two weeks. He's going up against a Detroit secondary that is better this season but still has room to improve. Last week, Smith threw for 289 yards following a 327-yard performance from him against the Patriots a week prior. 250 yards isn't a stretch for Geno tonight and I expect him to go over that mark.
Leg 3: Detroit Lions ML
Sure, the Seahawks are unbeaten this season but the Lions are still the better team in this matchup. Detroit gets its third home game in the past four weeks and they'll make good on the home cooking. Wins over the Dolphins, Patriots and Broncos aren't moving the needle for me. We'll get a Seattle team that comes back down to earth on Monday Night Football.
