The Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres meet at Petco Park tonight for Game 3 of this NLDS series. So, it's only right that we break down my Padres vs. Dodgers prediction before one of the biggest games of the season.
San Diego did its job, going into LA and stealing a win on the road, and if you ask the Padres, they will tell you they should be leading this series 2-0.
Still, this series goes to San Diego tied at one game apiece as the Dodgers and Shohei Ohtani try to steal a game back and take control of home-field advantage once again.

Padres vs. Dodgers Prediction
The Padres opened up a 3-0 lead in Game 1. The lead was short-lived, as Shohei Ohtani struck a monstrous three-run homer to even the score.
LA would surrender the lead as Xander Bogaerts struck a double into the left-field corner, pulling the Padres ahead 5-3.
The Dodgers used a three-run fourth inning to take a 6-5 lead. The inning was headlined by a two-out RBI single off the bat of Teoscar Hernandez.
In Game 2, the Padres once again dropped three runs in the first inning, but they did not look back this time.
San Diego platted ten runs on their way to a blowout 10-2 win.
Fernando Tatis leads the Padres from the plate, batting .643 in the playoffs with three home runs and five runs batted in.
Catcher Kyle Higashioka has launched three home runs in four playoff games.
Shohei Ohtani leads the Dodgers with three runs batted in and one home run in the first two playoff games.
Tommy Edman has hit a team-best .427 in the series.
Former All-Star Walker Buehler gets the rock tonight for the Dodgers. Buehler went 1-6 with a 5.38 ERA.
Opposing Buehler will be the right-hander Michael King. King posted a record of 13-9 while ranking 9th in the majors in ERA (2.95).
