New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers World Series Game 1 Same Game Parlay
Leg 1: New York Yankees ML
Let's start off with the game script, with the New York Yankees on the road against the Dodgers. The Yankees have excelled on the road so far, taking both games from the Royals in KC, and two of three to close out the Guardians in Cleveland. With the amount of red-hot stars in their lineup in Soto, Stanton, Torres, there is no reason to stop backing them on the road. Gerrit Cole takes the mound, and should be able to deliver five+ solid innings against the Dodgers. Aaron Judge does need to step up, and tonight is the perfect time for him to turn around his .161 average with just two homers in nine games.
Leg 2: No Runs First Inning
Last series was an offensive display of dominance for both squads, with the Yankees scoring five runs or more in every game against the Guardians. The Dodgers scored six or more in all but one game, with both sides looking nearly unstoppable at the plate. We are going to buck that trend in Game 1 and look for no runs in the first inning. This is a risky leg given how aggressive the batters have been, but they will come out with some early nerves after finally making the World Series, and the scoring will resume promptly in the second and third innings.
Leg 3: Gleyber Torres To Record a Hit
Gleyber Torres has been a force for the Yankees, and one of the most reliable hitters in the playoffs. He's hitting .297 in the postseason, much higher than his .257 regular season average. He had eight hits in five games against the Guardians, and is rightfully priced at -230 to reach base safely tonight. Our AI probability gives him a 73% chance to get a hit, and he should find a way to get one past a shaky Jack Flaherty in Game 1.
Leg 4: Juan Soto To Record a Hit
Time for the final leg, and we are targeting birthday boy Juan Soto. He has been absolutely crushing for the Yanks so far this postseason, with a .333 average yielding 8 RBI's and three homers. Soto just turned 26 years old today, and is getting ready to collect potentially the largest MLB contract of all time outside of Shohei Ohtani this offseason. He has certainly earned whatever paycheck he's getting with his clutch performances, will will continue to shine tonight. Soto to record 2+ bases at +110 is also worth a substitution if you want to get riskier than one hit at -210 odds. He will deliver on his birthday.
