First baseman Pete Alonso continued his strong postseason, launching a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. That swing would set the tone for the Mets offense. New York plated a series-high 12 runs in the win.
Starling Marte enjoyed the best game of his postseason with four hits and three runs batted in. The Mets had 14 hits as a team.
Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages had the best game of his young playoff career. Pages launched a pair of home runs and drove in four of the Dodgers' six runs. Mookie Betts continued his strong postseason with a pair of hits and one run batted in.
Sean Manaea will get the rock for the Mets. The southpaw has been great in the playoffs with a 2-0 record and an ERA of 2.65.
