We have a full Tuesday MLB slate today and I have put together a parlay for it that I am really liking. One market I've had lots of success in over the past few seasons is with hit parlays. I have two hitters today that I love to record a hit, and those two are Sal Frelick of the Milwaukee Brewers and Jordan Westburg of the Baltimore Orioles. Let me dive into why I am taking both of these hitters for 1+ hit.

MLB Parlay Today: Tuesday, April 8th
Leg 1: Sal Frelick to Record a Hit
Sal Frelick is off to a great start this season. He has a hit four straight games (eight total) and in six of the last seven games vs. the Colorado Rockies with two or more plate appearances. He owns a .314 expected batting average so far, and is hitting .467 vs. lefties (.400 in spring training). Kyle Freeland takes the mound for Colorado, who is known for allowing a ton of hits. He was in the 4th percentile in expected batting average allowed last season (.279) and lefties hit .329 off him. I expect Frelick to stay hot in a very hitter friendly ballpark and get us another hit!
Leg 2: Jordan Westburg to Record a Hit
Jordan Westburg 1+ hit is the second leg of today's parlay. He has been great this season and is in the 92nd percentile so far in expected batting average (.331). He has recorded a hit in six of the last eight games this season and has a great matchup vs. Merrill Kelly, who has struggled big time this season. Kelly has allowed an expected batting average of .330 and Westburg hits his pitch mix very well. Here's his numbers vs. right-handed pitching in 2024:
