The Los Angeles Dodgers have the second-highest payroll in the MLB this season. However, that didn't stop the Dodgers from getting absolutely destroyed yesterday against the Chicago Cubs.
The Cubs defeated the Dodgers 16-0 in yesterday's ball game. Funny enough, the Cubs only led 2-0 heading into the 7th inning and earned a 16-0 win after scoring at least four runs in each of the final three innings.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the Dodgers added a 3-0 victory and added a shutout of their own to begin the three-game series.
Therefore, tonight's Sunday Night Baseball matchup between the Dodgers and Cubs will be a rubber match of this three-game series.
The Dodgers will throw Tyler Glasnow, who looked abysmal in his most recent start against the Phillies. Conversely, the Cubs will counter with Colin Rea, who will make his first start of the season for the Cubs tonight.
Glasnow is certainly the more accomplished pitcher. But will that be enough for the Dodgers to earn the series tonight?
Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for tonight's Sunday Night Baseball matchup between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Cubs vs. Dodgers Prediction
Colin Rea will be tasked with a tough assignment tonight.
Rea has thrown three appearances out of the bullpen this season and has limited teams to a .050 ISO and wOBA of .242. However, he's only struck out 10% of batters and has allowed 33.3% of line drives with only 33.3% of ground balls.
In addition, Rea has given up 55.6% of hard contact and a barrel percentage of 11.1%.
Meanwhile, he'll battle a Dodgers projected lineup that has already hit a .293 ISO and wOBA of .405 with 22.1% of strikeouts and more than 9% of walks against righties this season.
The projected lineup has also hit 36.2% of fly balls and just 37.8% of ground balls against righties. The Dodgers should feast against Rea, especially since Rea allowed a .189 ISO and wOBA of .331 to 714 batters last season. He was below average last year as a starter and won't have it any easier against this Dodgers team.
That said, Tyler Glasnow struggled against the Phillies in his last outing. He didn't allow a ton of hard contact or a bunch of base hits. It was the walks that kept him out of rhythm. Glasnow has now walked 24.2% of batters to start the season, which is obviously horrendous.
However, if you look at last season, Glasnow walked only 6.1% of batters after facing 505 batters. He's not typically a high walk pitcher.
He'll be in great shape if he can keep walks down against the Cubs. After all, the Cubs have hit a .113 ISO and wOBA of .274 with their projected lineup against righties this season. Glasnow hasn't even allowed an extra base hit this season, holding a .000 ISO.
Take the Dodgers at -1.5.
