It consists of two hitters who are both swinging the bat well right now. Those two hitters are Mookie Betts and Jung Hoo Lee, so let me dive into why I am loving this pairing today.

MLB Parlay Today: Monday, April 14th
Leg 1: Mookie Betts to Record a Hit
Mookie Betts has recorded a hit in 7 of his past 8 games and seems to be back to his old self. Against right-handed pitching this season, he is hitting .324 AVG and is seeing the ball very well. His matchup is great as he will see the righty, Antonio Senzatela who is someone he's seen a ton of success against in his career. He owns a career .450 batting average against him and has a hit in 8 of the 9 prior matchups which is amazing. So far this season we've seen Senzatela allow opposing batters to hit .415 AVG against him so I think Mookie is in a great spot today!
Leg 1: Jung Hoo Lee to Record a Hit
I also think Jung Hoo Lee is in a great spot in Philly today. Lee is arguably the hottest hitter in baseball and has a hit in 12 of his past 13 games. He ranks in the 98th percentile in expected batting average (.362 xBA). With this being a road game, his chances of seeing 5 or more plate appearances increase which only improves his odds of a hit. I like his matchup vs Phillies righty, Taijuan Walker who has pitched decently thus far, despite a horrendous 2024 season. Last season he was one of the worst pitchers in baseball, allowing opposing hitters to have a .295 expected batting average. Lee is a .291 AVG career hitter against righties and I think he stays hot and gets us a hit today!
