April 19 Best MLB Home Run Props
Oneil Cruz to Hit a Home Run (+350) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Oneil Cruz has absolutely destroyed righties in the lead-off spot for the Pirates this season. He's added a .350 ISO and wOBA of .413 with only 28.6% of ground balls and 39.3% of line drives against righties. In addition, he's nailed a 67.4% hard contact rate and has earned a 25% barrel percentage against righties this season.
Meanwhile, he'll battle Ben Lively of the Guardians. Lively has allowed a .250 ISO and wOBA of .420 agaisnt his first 37 lefties this season. He's also allowed 32% of line drives and 28% of fly balls, while only earning 28% of ground balls against lefties.
Additionally, Lively has struck out below 19% of lefties and has walked 13.5%. He's clearly falling behind lefties this season, which should only give Cruz some good counts to launch one.
Junior Caminero to Hit a Home Run (+460) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Junior Caminero and the Rays get to face Carlos Carrasco of the New York Yankees. So far this season, Carrasco has allowed a .312 ISO and wOBA of .379 to 70 batters. More specifically, he's allowed a .480 ISO and wOBA of .491 to 27 righties this season.
Those 27 righties have hit 31.6% of line drives and 78.9% of hard contact.
Junior Caminero is the one right-hander in the Rays' lineup who has consistently had success against righties. To begin the season, he's slugged a .292 ISO and wOBA of .387 against righties. Furthermore, he's added more than 32% of fly balls, 58.8% of hard contact, and a 17.6% barrel percentage against righties.
Those numbers look great against Carrasco's.
William Contreras to Hit a Home Run (+560) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
William Conteras has added a .282 ISO and wOBA of .438 against 47 right-handed pitchers this season. He's only struck out 12.8% and has clearly been patient, since he's added 17% of walks against righties this season.
Beyond that, Contreras has also added 27.3% of line drives against righties and has hit nearly 40% of hard contact.
Tonight, he'll face Luis Severino of the Athletics, who has allowed a .204 ISO and wOBA of .325 to his first 55 righties. He's been worse against righties as a right-handed pitcher, earning just 20% of strikeouts with almost 11% of walks allowed to righties.
Severino has even given up 52.6% of hard contact and a barrel percentage at nearly 8%.
Contreras has a matchup we'll want to exploit.
