Ryan is having an excellent season for the Twins. He has a 2.57 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, 29.8% strikeout rate and 3.7% walk rate. The right-hander is in the 87th percentile of strikeout rate and 72nd percentile of whiff rate.

For the season, the Athletics strike out 20.4% of the time against right-handers, which ranks 23rd in baseball. Over the last two weeks, the Athletics are the fourth-worst with a 24.2% strikeout rate against righties. The A’s are striking out 32.8% of the time over the last week against right-handers.

Kerry Carpenter Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Tigers have the best record in baseball and Carpenter has played a key role. He has been hitting leadoff and is slashing .268/.298/.470 with 32 runs, 10 home runs, and 22 RBIs in 198 at-bats.

Carpenter has a good season, but has struggled recently due to facing some good pitching. The perfect remedy to turn it around is the Chicago White Sox pitching. Jonathan Cannon is on the mound. He has a 4.15 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, 17.4% strikeout rate and allowed a 44.7% hard hit rate.

Carpenter thrives against right-handed pitching with seven doubles, eight home runs and an .804 OPS. Carpenter is 4-for-7 with a double, two home runs and five RBIs against Cannon. Carpenter faced Cannon on April 4th and hit a home run in the first innings.

Cannon has allowed 35 hits over his last 28.2 innings and eight home runs in 60.2 innings. He has allowed a 9.6% barrel rate and is more susceptible against lefties, allowing a .343 wOBA and 1.27 HR/9. The White Sox bullpen has a 4.43 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and allowed 27 home runs.
