Lawrence Butler Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Lawrence Butler had a huge second half last season after struggling and being sent to the minors. There was some skepticism if he could continue his strong play this year and he started slowly, batting just .224 with a .665 OPS on May 16th.
But Butler has turned it around and looks like the player we saw to finish last season. Butler is batting .270 with an .812 OPS. Over the last 16 games, Butler is batting .391 with a .496 wOBA.
Butler has multiple hits in six of the last eight games. He plays his home games in Sutter Health Park in Sacramento, which is one of the best hitting environments. He has an .858 OPS at home and has at least two total bases in 10 of his last 11 home games.
Charlie Morton takes the mound for Baltimore and after an awful start to the season, he has pitched well the last two starts since returning to the starting rotation, although one of them was against the White Sox. Morton has a 6.20 ERA, a 1.68 HR/9 and allowed an .850 OPS to left-handers.
