Best MLB Hitter Props: Targeting Cal Raleigh, Brandon Lowe on Tuesday, June 10th
Cal Raleigh is having a career year and is eight home runs shy of his career high. The Mariners catcher leads baseball with 26 home runs and is ahead of Jose Ramirez and Bobby Witt Jr. in the American League MVP odds.
On the other hand, Brandon Lowe hasn’t played more than 109 games since 2021, but has showed good power when on the field. He has 13 home runs in 61 games this year, and is looking to continue the hot hitting. Both have good matchups Tuesday and player props to cash.

If someone told you before the season Cal Raleigh would be second in odds for the American League MVP award more than two months into the season, you would have laughed at them. Raleigh has been one of the biggest surprises in baseball. The power has been there the last three seasons with 27, 30 and 34 home runs, but the stats this season are on pace for a historic season
Raleigh is slashing .266/.373/.641 with 44 runs, 26 home runs, 53 RBIs and seven stolen bases. Most of the underlying stats support what he’s doing. Raleigh gets a great matchup against Diamondbacks right-hander Brandon Pfaadt, whose biggest issue is handling left-handed hitters. The Diamondbacks bullpen is struggling and used seven pitchers after starter Merrill Kelly Monday night. Closer Justin Martinez also left the game with a sore elbow.
Raleigh has hit 18 of his 26 home runs against righties with a 1.017 OPS, .419 wOBA, and .364 ISO. Pfaadt has a 5.51 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and a 51.9% hard hit rate. He had a 3.28 ERA on May 8th, but the underlying stats didn’t support it. Pfaadt has allowed 11 hits, 13 earned runs, two walks and struck out two over his last two starts in three innings. Against lefties, he has allowed .356 wOBA and a .485 slugging percentage.

Lowe has gone over this line in 17 of the last 19 games. The Rays offense has been good recently and Lowe usually hits second. Lowe went 1-for-3 with a run and RBI on Monday in a game that went 11 innings. The Red Sox used four relievers, including Aroldis Chapman for the third straight day, so he’s likely unavailable.
Lowe gets a good matchup against Lucas Giolito. The Red Sox right-hander has struggled after not pitching since 2023. Giolito has a 6.42 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, 18% strikeout rate and 7.3% walk rate. He is in the 8th percentile of whiff rate and average exit velocity.
Against lefties, Giolito has allowed .359 wOBA and .500 slugging percentage. The left-handed Lowe has a .356 wOBA and an .827 OPS against right-handers.
