Best MLB Bets Today: Thursday, June 12th

Vinnie Pasquantino Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

At the end of April, it looked bad for Pasquantino. The Royals first baseman was slashing .177/.242/.327. He rebounded in a big way in May hitting .330 with an .839 OPS and continued to hit well in June. In nine games this month, Pasquantino is batting .444 with six runs, two home runs, seven RBIs and a 1.139 OPS.

Pasquantino has an 11-game hitting streak and has gone over this prop in 10 of the last 11 games. He is 17-for-39 (.436) over the last 10 games. As expected, the left-hander has been much better against right-handers. He is slashing .300/.360/.473 with nine home runs and 27 RBIs and a .501 wOBA against righties over the last 30 days.

The Yankees will start right-hander Will Warren, who has struggled recently and allowed nine hits, 11 earned runs, two home runs, eight walks and eight strikeouts over 6.2 innings in his last two starts. He has a 5.34 ERA and 1.41 WHIP on the season.

Jeremy Pena Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Pena has been one of the biggest surprises in baseball and isn’t getting enough attention. Pena is slashing .322/.377/.488 with 37 runs, nine home runs, 33 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. Pena has multiple hits in seven of the last 10 games.

Over the last 15 days, Pena is batting .407 with 10 runs, six doubles, two home runs and six RBIs. In June, the Astros shortstop is batting .421 (16-for-38). Pena has been crushing at home with a .368 average, six home runs, 20 RBIs and a .991 OPS.

The White Sox will start right-hander Davis Martin. While the 3.62 ERA and 1.21 WHIP indicate he’s pitching well, there’s been some luck. He only has a 15.6% strikeout rate, a 5.56 xERA, .309 xBA, and in the 13th percentile of hard hit rate. Martin has a 4.36 ERA on the road and has been worse against right-handers, allowing a .288 average and a .792 OPS.
