First stop is Chicago, where I’m rolling with Bobby Witt Jr. for 2+ RBI/Hits+Runs.
Witt has been nothing short of automatic lately, cashing this line in 9 of his last 10 games. He draws Shane Smith on the mound — a guy carrying a 4.12 ERA who hasn’t had much luck against him. Witt is a perfect 3-for-3 in plate appearances against Smith with 2 hits, 1 RBI, and a walk.
Witt is locked in, the matchup is right, and I’m confident he keeps it rolling tonight.
Leg 2: Ke'Bryan Hayes 1+ Hits + Runs + RBIs
For the second leg, we head west to Dodger Stadium, where I’m backing Ke’Bryan Hayes for 1+ RBI/Hits+Runs.
Hayes has been cashing tickets left and right, covering this line in 11 of his last 12 games while averaging 2.2 HRRBI per outing. He’s batting .353 over his last six games, and tonight he gets Emmet Sheehan — a righty giving up a 5.19 ERA to right-handed hitters.
Add in hitter-friendly conditions with the wind blowing out in L.A., and Hayes is set up perfectly to keep producing.
