The San Diego Padres host the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday Night and Petco Park will be the site for this crucial Game 1 matchup.
Atlanta needed the final day of the season to punch their playoff ticket as the Braves blew Game 1 of yesterday's doubleheader but came out on top in Game 2
Brian Snitker's team has reached the postseason in seven consecutive seasons and Atlanta won the World Series in 2021.
Injuries have slowed this Braves team down, but now, in October, anything can happen.
San Diego enters the series as a heavy-betting favorite. Since the All-Star break, the Friars have been the best team in baseball.
This team feels like they are good enough to win a World Championship as the Padres return to the playoffs after missing out on last year's postseason.

Braves vs. Padres Game 1 Prediction, Betting Analysis, Game Preview
Marcel Ozuna led the team with 39 home runs and 104 RBIs. The Braves were without superstar Ronald Acuna for almost the entire year, but Ozuna picked things up with him out of the linuep.
First baseman Matt Olson has enjoyed a solid season, hitting 29 home runs and 98 RBIs while former All-Star Ozzie Albies has launched ten home runs and 43 runs batted in over 99 games.
Albies also hit a massive bases-clearing go-ahead double in the bottom of the eighth in Game 1 of yesterday's doubleheader against the Mets. But Francisco Lindor's homer in the ninth Trumped him.
AJ Smith-Shawver will toe the rubber tonight. The righty started one game this season and went 4.1 innings while striking out four and walking two.
As for the Padres, they've been led by a strong lineup and solid pitching since the All-Star break. Luis Arraez continues to be one of the best, if not the best, contact hitters in baseball. He finished the season batting .318.
Veteran Manny Machado leads the Padres with 29 home runs and 105 runs batted in while veteran Jurickson Profar made his first-ever All-Star game and closed the campaign with 24 home runs on top of 85 RBIs.
Former Yankee Michael King gets the start tonight for the Padres. King is 13-9 with a 2.95 ERA.

I love the Padres to dominate this series and Game 1 in particular.
Atlanta comes into this game after an emotional doubleheader split yesterday. Afterward, they had to hop on a plane and fly to San Diego.
Tonight is a tough spot for the Braves, facing one of baseball's hottest teams with a solid starter on the mound.
