We are in the final days of 2022 The Basketball Tournament (TBT), as the race for $1 million is down to its final three games. After today, the Tuesday championship game at UD Arena on ESPN will be set, and the two-week stretch of hoops will be over seemingly just as it was getting started. 

With 60 games in the books, let’s take a closer look at the four teams that remain, and where the value is headed as we get underway this afternoon in Dayton, OH.

Americana for Autism vs. AfterShocks Start Time and Where To Watch

Americana for Autism vs. AfterShocks Prediction

Americana for Autism has grown accustomed to the underdog spot, most recently against Florida TNT on Thursday night; handling business 93-83 in one of the more surprising results of TBT. With no defacto scorers, AFA gets production where they can, and they did Thursday in the form of Olufemi Olujobi and Chris Write who scored 14 points each in the win. 

The AfterShocks, on the other hand, have played the role of favorite all tournament and now are the odds on favorites to win at TBT at around +160; and rightfully so. In their four games thus far, the AfterShocks have won by an average margin of seven points per game. 

In Friday night’s win over the Gutter Cat Gang, it was more of Darral Willis Jr. and Markis McDuffie, who finished with a combined 32 points on the night. With Willis Jr. and forward James Dickey amongst the best rebounders in TBT, I look for the Aftershocks to pull away late this afternoon; punching their ticket to Tuesday's $1 million winner take all final.

Red Scare vs. Blue Collar U Start Time and Where To Watch

Red Scare vs. Blue Collar U Prediction

The Red Scare will get a chance to complete a TBT first, as the Dayton alumni team will once be playing the next two (potential) games on their home court at UD Arena. They took one step closer on Friday night knocking off one of the best teams in TBT in Best Virginia, as guard Schoochie Smith had a game to remember scoring 17 points on the night. Forward Trevor Thompson grabbed seven boards, as the Red Scare picked up their biggest win in TBT history thus far. 

Their flare for the dramatics is of concern, however, as they’ve won all four games thus far by seven points or less coming into today. 

Blue Collar U, on the other hand, has won their games to this point by an average margin of 13.75 points per game. Tevin Mack and Marcus Hall combined for 29 points on the night Friday against the Heartfire, their toughest test of TBT thus far.

I like for another big game from Mack, as BCU gets through to the final.
