New York Knicks vs. Los Angeles Clippers Prediction

The Los Angeles Clippers vs. the New York Knicks will meet up from the world's most famous arena in New York on Saturday night for a fun matchup. The Knicks are fresh off a win over the Heat on their home floor on Thursday night in a game without one of their stars, Jalen Brunson. Brunson missed the game with an illness, but he is expected to suit up for tonight’s game. The Knicks got some good news this week when they learned that Julius Randle had been elected to the all-star game. It was well earned for Randle, who is averaging a career year and has led the Knicks to a 28-25 record. New York missed out on the playoffs last year, but they look like a whole new team this year with the addition of Brunson.

Los Angeles, meanwhile, is coming off of a tough loss on Thursday night vs. the Bucks, the Clippers led the game for the majority of the way, but they could not close things out when it mattered most. Kawhi Leonard, in particular, went ice-cold late, and their defense could not string enough stops together. Despite the loss, the Clippers are happy with their play as of late, and a big reason for the success is the fact that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both healthy and on the floor together. When healthy, this is one of the most lethal combinations in basketball, and the Clippers feel that they are a title contender when the two are on the floor. The West is wide open now, and many see the Clips as one of the favorites. 

I am backing LA tonight. After that tough loss, I think the Clippers will come out with a chip on their shoulder tonight and dominate this game. New York has been solid at home, but I expect them to regress fresh off an impressive win over Miami. Los Angeles matches up very well across the board here, and I think that they will be too much offensively for the Knicks to keep pace with. Let’s stay red hot on the hardwood and cash in tonight!
