NBA Predictions: Charlotte Hornets vs. Houston Rockets Picks

Denver Nuggets vs. Toronto Raptors
The Raptors are in a tailspin in a season that hasn't gone the way anybody hoped, and it's trade-deadline week. By the time this game is played, Kyle Lowry may or may not still be a Raptor, and the same goes for Norman Powell. They'll either be shorthanded if a deal is completed or the team will have the situation weighing on them during the game. Against a very good Nuggets team with the arguable MVP frontrunner in Nikola Jokic, it's an easy call to take Denver.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Houston Rockets
Houston just ended their franchise-record 20-game losing streak, and for their follow-up they'll face a Charlotte team that just lost LaMelo Ball for at least the next four weeks. The Hornets eked out a win against the Spurs on Monday without Ball, this is an opportunity at home for the Rockets to capitalize on the relief of finally getting a win and make it a two-game streak.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. San Antonio Spurs
The Clippers haven't been consistent enough to be comfortable taking them with a spread as high as -6, as evidenced by their Monday win over the Hawks in which they had to come back from a huge deficit late to pull it out. The Spurs are in a similar position to the Hawks in the west, fighting for playoff position, and they're not a team to take lightly. They'll at least hang around enough to cover.
