Houston Rockets vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction: Riding Kevin Porter With YOLO Plays
I've thought carefully about this and I think it's time we just dove into a game. When I say dive in, I really mean dive in. Like it's going to be really good or really bad. No in between here. If something happens to one of these guys, we're screwed. But if we are right about the situation, the day will be one we will remember forever. We can tell our kids about it, their kids, the neighbors, their neighbors, anybody really. People love hearing about great bets you've made in the past. If I'm right, then the following are definitely going to be included in your greatest bets of all-time stories. On top of that, we'll all probably be first-ballot gambling hall of famers. I'm serious, this could be the greatest day in gambling history for us.
* Note - This feels dumb but keep in mind, we can only lose 5% of our bankroll if this whole thing goes south. That's not that dumb. It could since the Timberwolves could blow out the Rockets. They're 13-point favorites. But if Houston keeps it close enough, every one of these moves could hit.

Kevin Porter Jr. 10+ Assists (+300) (Bet $100 to win $300)
Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing
It definitely feels kind of crazy taking a KPJ 10+ assist prop but is it? I think that's exactly what the books want us to think. This kid is playing a ton of minutes these days. We're talking 35+ in each of his last three games. He's crossed this number in three of his last four. Today he gets Minnesota at home. This is the same Minnesota Timberwolves team that is worst in the NBA in terms of opponent assists per field goals made. Last game, 78.3% of their opponent's field goals came assisted. This isn't that dumb.
Kevin Porter Jr. 25+ Points (+285) (Bet $100 to win $285)
Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing
I'm not just taking the assists on this kid. He's scoring way too much for us to stop with the dimes. Ever since the Rockets started waving the white flag and sitting everyone, Porter has been firing away. He's taken 22+ shot attempts in two of his last three games. The time he didn't, he took 17. In all three games, he went 25+ and in one game he topped 30 points. The Rockets and Timberwolves are the two fastest paced teams in the NBA. We could see a wild one tonight and if that happens, Porter Jr. could easily drop 25+ points.

Jalen Green 30+ Points (+340) (Bet $100 to win $340)
Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing
You have to shoot the ball to score points. Everyone knows that. Well, Jalen Green is shooting the ball right now. In fact, he's taken at least 24 shots in each of his last three games. The Rockets really want to let this kid develop and he's taken full advantage of the opportunity. We're talking 30+ points in each of his last three games here. I don't see a reason that we should be getting +340 for this given the circumstance.
Kevin Porter 4+ Made Threes (+210) & 5+ Made Threes (+490) (Bet $100 to win $490)
Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing
Now we've jumped the shark a little but whatever. If you want to have the greatest day in gambling history, you need to gamble. That's just how the greatest days in gambling history work. No team in the NBA has attempted more three-pointers per game over the last three games than Houston. We're looking at 45.3 per game. What's fun is, there is only a handful of guys taking them and Porter Jr. is one of them. Over his last three games, he's attempted at least 10 treys in all of them. Last game he jacked up 12. As a result, he's canned at least four threes in both of his last two games. Over the last three games, only one team has been worse defending the three-point line than Minnesota. This isn't that dumb.
