NBA Player Prop Pick for Sunday: Jalen Green Again?
I love Sundays. They mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Family, youth sports, food but for me, I like the gambling I get to do on Sundays the best. Don't get me wrong, watching my daughters play soccer/basketball and big meals in the mid-afternoon are awesome. I love it but gambling just ties the whole experience together. It just does. On this particular Sunday, everything is pretty much status quo on the family and food. But on the gambling side of things, we've got something special. Like ridiculous special. The Houston Rockets are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7:00 pm ET and it could get wild. We're talking really wild. The books are catching on to a certain guy, but they haven't fully caught on yet. I think we should take advantage.

This one is at FanDuel but we should be able to get a variation of it at DraftKings as well. I think DraftKings is doing the thing where they are waiting to release the later games until closer to the early games tipping off. I don't even know if that's a thing but it makes me feel smart to think it. It's more of a go-with-it situation than anything.
I'm not going to say the exact same thing I did the other night about this kid but I could. It's all still true. He's just jacking up threes like it's his job. He has legit taken at least 14 three-point attempts in each of his last three games. That's insane. It looks like a pick-up game at times. Even in a pick-up game, I don't know if a guy can get up 14 threes. It's crazy.
When you're shooting a lot of threes, you probably also hitting some of them. That's just how threes work. This is true for Green since he's hit at least five threes in each of his last five games. What's even better is he's hit at least six treys in each of his last four games. That's an extra three people. Talk about going above and beyond for the people.
Tonight he gets the Minnesota Timberwolves who haven't been great defending the three-point line lately. In fact, only one team (Milwaukee Bucks) has been worse. It's really bad as they are allowing opponents to drill 42.7% of their downtown looks. You don't need to be a math major to know that five made threes on 14 attempts is not even 42%. This feels like a wild bet but given the volume Green could see, I don't think it is. We should definitely bet it.
