Toronto Raptors vs Atlanta Hawks Player Prop Same-Game Parlay: Fred VanVleet Making It Rain From 3
Toronto Raptors vs Atlanta Hawks Player Prop Same-Game Parlay: Fred VanVleet Making It Rain From 3
People are saying that gambling is legal in Canada now and I think they are right. I Googled it and a lot of gambling stuff came up in the headlines so we are going to go ahead and say it's legal. Welcome to the club Canada! To celebrate, I think we should throw together a little same game parlay. Not just any same game parlay but one with a Canadian team involved.
The Vancouver Grizzlies (RIP) don't exist anymore, but the Toronto Raptors do. Even better than that, they are playing tonight. In Canada. I think that's a sign because that's literally how signs work. Lucky for us, I've already gone over this game with a fine-toothed comb. There is more than one way to tie some stuff together and call it a winner. Not for me, but for the fine people of Canada that get to do it with me. What a world!

Fred VanVleet 3+ Made Threes
This shouldn't even be a thing. Why would any book on the planet let anyone bet this? It seems irresponsible at best. How is VanVleet not going to hit at least three three-pointers tonight? He's taken 27 three-ball attempts in his last two games. He canned at least four of them in each contest. Now he gets the Atlanta Hawks who he's seen three times this season and never taken less than 10 long-range attempts in any of those matchups. Not for nothing but he's hit at least four in every battle. He hit five in two of those games. This is so easy.

Trae Young 8+ Assists
Speaking of easy. This one feels like kindergarten. For starters, you'd almost have to go back to Young's kindergarten year to see a game where he didn't record at least eight assists. Maybe not but in his last 16 games, he's only gone under the number once. He's actually dropped at least 15 dimes three times in that span. In two matchups with the Raptors this season, he's dished out at least 11 assists in both games. It makes sense because Toronto is 28th in the NBA in opponent assists per field goals made this season. Over the last three games, 71.4% of their enemies' field goals have come via the dime. Trae should have this by halftime.

Pascal Siakam 20+ Points
This one is the wild card and since that's the case, we should win this parlay easily. Siakam gets 20 whenever he wants. That's just how he works. Over his last eight games, he's gone into the 20s in six of them. He's actually a threat to get into the 30s. He's already done that once against the Hawks this season. That game was in Toronto just like this one. Coincidence? I think not. I expect Siakam to be on the floor all night. We're talking 40+ minutes here. If and when that happens, 20 points should follow.
