NBA player props expert John Hyslop is back with another top player prop pick for Wednesday's Game 5 of the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls round 1 playoff series. John has his sights set on Ayo Dosumnu once again.
ANALYSIS

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction: Trust Our Sweet King Ayo Dosumnu

I'm a man who likes closure. Big closure guy. I don't know where I'm going with this but let's just say you can't tell the story of this NBA season without our sweet, young king, Ayo Dosunmu. Try it. I dare you. It won't work. The guy single-handedly saved the assist market. Everyone knows that. As I saw the Bulls' back-court continue to fall over the last couple of days, all I could think it, this is poetry. This is our chance to send our little assist king out on a high note. A real high note. A higher note than anyone else has ever been sent out on. I doubt the Bulls get out of this game tonight within 20 points. But that doesn't mean our guy Ayo won't play much. I think he will and I think he will remind the gambling world what a true king he is.

*Odds Available at FanDuel at Time of Publishing*

We're back at FanDuel again because that's the spot for the escalators. I don't mind the 4.5 for -130 at DraftKings and BetMGM. People can do that if they want. But I'm a big game hunter. Everyone knows that. Why not take down a big number while we're here. Life is too short for -130 bets. Look it up.

First off, these numbers damn sure won't last. They're too good. People much smarter than us will take them. People don't forget. People could never forget the time this kid turned into John Stockton all over the NBA. We're talking double-digit assists here four times this season. One time was against the Celtics and nobody does that (don't fact check that because I'm sure someone else dropped 10+ dimes at some point).

So why doesn't Ayo do this all the time? Because Alex Caruso and Zach LaVine always get in the way. Is it fair? No. But it happens and Ayo never complains which is why he's a king. He just does what the coach asks like a good king. Guess who isn't playing tonight? Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso.

I can't act like there is all this data that goes with this. The Bulls could get blown out, but the young guys will probably still play even if they do. Plus it's the playoffs so they'll go longer than they would in the regular season anyway. Both LaVine and Caruso both have had 10+ assists in a game in this series. I think it's Ayo's turn tonight. It would be the perfect way to put the Bulls' season to bed. Feels right.
