NBA player props expert John Hyslop is here with his player prop pick for Monday night's Game 4 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics. With Game 4 set in Milwaukee, John has his eyes on Bucks point guard Jrue Holiday tonight.
ANALYSIS

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics Player Prop Pick: Will Jrue Holiday Get Hot at the House in Game 4?

We have to bet some NBA tonight. It just has to be done. I'm going to wait on the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors game. I think Ja Morant could play. Watching that Jordan Poole play again has convinced me there is no way he could be hurt that bad. Unless he was hurt on another play or if the injury occurred when they bumped knees. My guess is that knee started flaring up when Morant looked up at the scoreboard in the 4th quarter. Just a guess but it's enough to make me focus on the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks for now. Luckily, we have a move that is almost too good to pass up. The kind you dream about when you're a kid. It's literally perfect in every way.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics Prediction

Jrue Holiday Over 21.5 Points Alt Line (+112) (Bet $100 to win $112)

*Odds Available at FanDuel at Time of Publishing*

Going to FanDuel for this one since they have the alt lines. I've never understood why someone would bet over 20.5 -114 when they can just go 21.5 for +112. It's one point. That's it. That's not that much. Sure technically the 21.5 could lose while the 20.5 wins but that won't happen enough to worry about. It just won't.

Let me tell you something about Jrue Holiday. He's filthy. Most of you might wonder if this bet is because Holiday is one of my favorite players. It could be. People are allowed to bet on players they like. There is no rule against that. I think people should do it more often. Especially when we're talking about a case like this one tonight.

First off, go watch the film (or look at the box scores). Holiday has taken at least 20 shots in all three games this series. He only did that once in the series against Chicago. Holiday isn't stupid, he knows his guys need him to score if they have any chance against Boston. He's right too because he's dropped at least 22 points in two of the three games so far. The time he didn't, he ripped off 19 which is damn close. Translation, we should be in this bet for the whole night.

In Game 3, Holiday took 30 shots. On top of that, people were complaining about Giannis Antetokounmpo running people over. What happens if Giannis gets in foul trouble? He won't because he's Giannis but it's fun to think about when you have a Holiday ticket. I think it's more likely that we'll see Holiday take it up the floor and just look for his shot on more than a couple of possessions. Especially if the game stays tight. At the end of the day, Holiday could end up taking 20+ shots again tonight. He's done that 10 times this season and scored at least 22 points in eight of those games. The two times he didn't were in Boston. This game is in Milwaukee where the people are nicer to him. I think he scores at least 22 tonight.
