Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks Game 7 Prediction

The Boston Celtics dug themselves a hole after losing a Game 5 home game. The Bucks led the series 3-2 in the East Semifinals and had the chance to close out the series. Instead, the Celtics had other plans, defeating the Bucks on the road, holding Milwaukee to just 95 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 46 of those 95 points and didn't get much help from his teammates offensively in Game 6. Honestly, he hasn't gotten much from his teammates throughout the series. Jrue Holiday scored 17 points and Bobby Portis added 10 rebounds off the bench. But the shooting hasn't been great for Milwaukee. The Bucks shot 40.9% from the field in Game 6 and hit only 24.1% of shots from deep. Giannis has to do so much and forces his way inside, which eventually turns into offensive fouls. He's been good about being careful when he can't pick up another foul, but ultimately, Giannis is the Bucks' whole team.

Meanwhile, the Celtics came out firing in Game 6 and ended up scoring 17 three-point shots. Boston lost on the bards, and struggled from the foul line but won the turnover battle by three. Jayson Tatum is that guy for Boston. He scored a game-high 46 points and shot 17-of-32 from the field. Now the Celtics are home and are 5-point favorites in this game. It makes sense. At home, the expectation is that Boston shoots better from the field. Milwaukee just isn't getting production with Khris Middleton out. But even when Middleton was in, he was inconsistent offensively. It's the year for the Celtics. I'll ride them at home against the spread.
