The Boston Celtics take on the Miami Heat for Game 4. Can we trust Marcus Smart to get buckets tonight? John Hyslop answers.
ANALYSIS

Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat Best Bet: Can Marcus Smart Get Buckets in Game 4?

The Miami Heat are still in Boston tonight taking on the Celtics in what many are calling "the most important basketball game of all time". If the Heat win this one, the series is over. That's what people are saying at least and you kind of have to side with people on this one. They're almost never wrong on these types of things. They'd have numbers on their side too since the Heat would be up 3-1 going back to Miami. Yikes, Celtics fans.

Green teamers could just rationalize this series as the battle to lose to Golden State but real Celtics fans would never do that. And neither would the guy I'm betting on to show up for them tonight. I've always said, if you had five of this guy, you could win an NBA Title. It's the perfect statement because it could never be proven wrong. There's no possible way to have five of one guy. But still, it's true. This guy is a gamer and we can trust him tonight.

Let's dive into our picks, predictions, and odds for Game 4 between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.

Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat Game 4 Prediction

This number is hanging everywhere you look but the best price I've seen is at FanDuel. If you see a better one, tweet to me. I need it. DraftKings and BetMGM both have -115 so that's a no go unless you just have to. I hate laying -115 but I would if I had to and sometimes we do. It's not our fault. Just victims of the game.

Marcus Smart. This guy is my favorite player in the NBA. Always has been. I've always said that. The guy does everything. I was kind of mad that he got rid of the green hair mid-series but I get it. It was more of me being jealous than anything. If I could grow any hair in the world it would be that hair. So naturally when I saw that it was now braids it upset me. Who knows, maybe it will be back tonight.

But this article isn't to tell you I like green hair. Not by a long shot. This is about a bet and one that I think will cash easily. Tonight Smart and the Celtics are in "must-win" territory so the day of the dawg is here. Marcus Smart is a dawg. He's only played in two games in this series and he hit these numbers both times. The first one really doesn't count since he was bombing threes but still. How do we know he won't take 12 threes again tonight. He could get hot.

I wish I had some stats on the Heat defense that could push us more in this direction but I don't. They're good. Real good. We're talking Eastern Conference Finals good. This play isn't about them though. This one is about Marcus Smart and his big heart. The guy has hit on this number in five of his last six playoff games. The only one he didn't was when the Celtics blew out the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 7. We can trust this guy in a situation like this.
