Despite being up by 10 multiple times against the Boston Celtics in Game 1, the Golden State Warriors lost their first home game of the playoffs at the worst possible time. The Warriors struggled to make shots in the fourth quarter and allowed the Celtics to overcome a large deficit of up 15 points in the second half. The Warriors haven't really seen defense like what the Celtics bring to the table.

In Game 1, it was clear that the Celtics matched up well with the Warriors. The Celtics never panicked and played solid basketball throughout even on the road.

Boston's star player, Jayson Tatum only earned 12 points but he assisted on 13 buckets and also added five rebounds despite a poor performance from the field. Eventually, in the fourth quarter, the Celtics went on a run because Tatum stopped forcing shots and allowed those who were making shots, to shoot the shots.

Jaylen Brown added 24 points while Derrick White came off the bench to score 21 points. But it was Al Horford who carried the Celtics with 26 points and six rebounds.

From the start of the playoffs, it's been known. The Celtics have the most depth in the NBA and it's really starting to show in the NBA Finals.

On the other hand, Steph Curry scored 34 points while Andrew Wiggins added 20. But nobody else stepped up offensively for the Warriors and that's why points were hard to come by in the fourth quarter for the Warriors.

The Celtics held the Warriors to just 44.3% from the field while the Celtics hit over 50% of shots in Game 1. The flow of the game was nice and when the Celtics aren't fouling teams to the line, they've got a massive chance at winning every game.

News Flash: The Warriors haven't been getting to the line often. Everything the Warriors do, the Celtics do better. In almost every category. The Warriors had a couple of huge leads and allowed a gritty Celtics team back in the game. The Warriors don't have grit as the Celtics do.

Anyway, it's hard to believe the Warriors will lose back-to-back games, at home, in the NBA Finals. But I really do think it's apparent that the Celtics are the better team. I'll take the Celtics against the spread.
